Woke up at 9am this morning and realized that 光明山 temple is currently holding the 水陸空法會 (Water, Earth, Air ceremony) So i jumped out of bed, got changed and rushed to the monastery only in time to make it for the lunch ceremony... As always... Lolz...
But I joined the monks in the Shurangama Platform for the afternoon. There are many different platforms for you to choose from - Chan, Pureland, Repentance, Shurangama, Avatamsaka, Lotus... Shurangama was the most empty. Sad... 2 years ago, I tried joining them but couldn't keep up. I was surprised that I can keep up with the recitation this time. It feels amazing. Gonna try to complete the entire sutra tomorrow. This ceremony is cool coz u get to see many monks in the bright red robes! Very colorful! Lolz... I think there were about 50 of them. And most of them are very young.
One of the monks passed me a chair to sit on during the recitation, and at the end of the session, I turned around and to my surprise, the chair seat wrote - Choo! It was meant for me! Lolz... Strange indeed! Strange indeed! And yes... I'm back to my temple visiting spree again... I can only stay away from a temple for so long u noe...
Met up with Jeffrey for dinner, then at the same time dropped by Jaycas' work place. Sent both of them off Srg later before making my way to my grandpa's place. He talked to me till past midnight before finally lettin me go home... Tired... I planned to wake up at 6am tml... I don't know if its gonna be possible... I'll try...

水陸空法會 - THAT IS SOOO COOL :D Word on the grapevine was that they were thinking about having one next year in CTTB, but it was too much work considering all the things going on for the anniversary...

yeah... I heard them talking about it too. You need about 100 monks for the ceremony i think.
