Day 1 - Beijing
Arrived Beijing at 3pm. Airport was humongous! I had to take a 5 min train ride from the gate to the baggage claim area. Waited for about 2 hours before spotting Rev. Heng Sure, Dm Jin Fan,(Really easy to spot them. The only people in robes.) Madalena, Guo Ji and Aunty Cuc. Beijing city is perpetually hazy due to the heavy pollution. But that gave the city a very mysterious feel to it. The ancient capital of China.
We checked into the hotel and just when we got up to the rooms, my really good Taiwanese friend arrived! Its been years since we last met. And he's crashing over since I have a huge hotel room all to myself! Yes! I don't have to sleep alone tonight! Muahahaz! Was a little afraid at first coz I heard so many stories of hotels in China. But this one looks pretty decent though. Still.. company is always good. We've got so much to catch up on... All the lost years man. Dinner was extremely filling, especially with Mark and I being the youngest... Looks like this is gonna be a pretty "prosperous" trip...
