Day 3 - Beijing 法源寺
Today we went to 法源寺. And relying on the blessings from traveling with dharma masters, we got to enter to abbot's chamber which housed buddha statues from the different dynasties that was saved during the cultural revolution. Some of them date back to almost 2000 years ago. Some were from the Tang Dynasty, the Song Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty, some even earlier.
The abbot was really relaxed in the environment but the rest of us were extremely cautious when moving about. One wrong move and there goes a 2000 year old antique. We stayed for a while then went out to goof about as the dharma masters continued chatting. And Daniel had to make himself shorter for all the shoots if not he'd have to suffer our complains for him being too tall.
