Went to Jocelyn's farewell party last night. She's been a part of our family for the past 16 years. Taking care of us since I was eight and for my youngest sister, since birth. She's moving on to a job offer in Canada which also gives her a chance to a new start in life after getting her PR there. At the party were many of her friends from the Philippines but also friends from USA, Canada, Germany and London. They were all wonderful people and all people who started of in one country, and ended up in another. It was like a big family! Her current employers Annika and Keith is a wonderful couple from California! They came to Singapore for a holiday 6 years ago and just never left. Lolz. Had a really good chat with them reminiscing about California. And one other friend from Modesto, CA asked me where do I think I will end up in the end. I paused and looked at him for a while and then smiled, and he got the answer straight away. Lolz...
We're all travelers in the same boat flowing down the river of destiny. We go where our passion takes us, and never know where we'll be. Flowing with the river, flying with the wind... Wherever we may be, that place shall be home...
